Your right to privacy is important to me. In line with the General Data Protection Regulations which became effective from 25th May, 2018 your attention is drawn to how and why I may store personal data about you and any of your children in connection with the purposes of this setting.
This notice seeks to briefly explain my online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, I make it available on the Contact page of my website before you submit any information to me. My website and its services does not collect personal information about persons visiting the site until the point at which they submit contact details.
Contact details and any other details you submit will only be used in connection with business activities of Sylvia's House of Children and not disclosed to third parties without your express permission. They will be stored securely to avoid unauthorised access.
If you become a client of Sylvia's House of Children you will be required to read and sign a varied of policies and procedures relating to the handling and protection of personal data. I also regularly update a Data Audit which is available for clients to view on request and shows why, how and for how long the various personal data is held.
You have the right, at any time, to withdraw your permission for me to hold any details about you (or your child if you have given permission for someone under sixteen years of age). This request needs to be made in writing. All information which I do not legally have to retain will then be securely deleted.
